Destin, Florida

While the colder weather effects areas of the U.S. in Februrary, we travel to Destin, Florida. We are there before the (crowded) Spring Break, when many college students are in this area, so the traffic, and wait times at area establishments, aren’t an issue in February. We visit family in Destin, & celebrate a family member’s birthday, along with enjoying time out-and-about in the area.

A TomsMaHauL report from Destin, Florida. We’re trying to keep Tom from getting thrown out of places that we go. So. Many stores offer Destin souvenirs & beach merchandise, and while visiting one of the stores, Tom said “This guy needs to be tested”. And, this caused some family members to say things (example: “dammit Tom. You ain’t right“)

Tom & son (Tim) on the deck at Dewey Destin’s Seafood Restaurant. Notice the green squirt gun. It’s loaded with water, and is used to squirt at the birds to keep them away from our outdoor dining area. There is, also, indoor dining space.

The white sand beaches in Destin, on the Gulf Coast, are popular places for visitors to enjoy. Usually, we travel to Destin every February, but we have visited this area in late August. Tom snaps a photo from the beach.
L-R: (son) Tim, Teri & (Tim’s fiance’) Missy. Missy is looking at Teri, because Missy is feeling “little fishees” nibbling on her legs, and Missy is asking Teri about it. Tom wasn’t sure (because he doesn’t hear girl-talk very well), but it was reported that Teri told Missy “Not to worry. The little fishees are just shaving your legs”.

We’re going through our files, and will add more photos & information, plus we’ll add to this page, the next time that we journey to Destin.
