Red River Revel Arts & Music Festival – Shreveport

Perfect weather for the Red River Revel arts & music festival in downtown Shreveport! We enjoyed the time in Festival Plaza, browsing the many arts & crafts booths + enjoying the bands on the various stages. There were many food booths, that we couldn’t pass up. We enjoyed gyros, meat pies & ice cream for lunch.
There are, always, many artists & entertainers at the Red River Revel. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to flag down a very tall couple that were roaming around. Very nice folks. When Tom asked “How’s the weather up there?”, Teri said “C’mon! That’s an old joke Tom”, before she said “Say CHEEEESE!” and snapped the photo.
The Red River Revel is a 9 day festival that is held in the fall season every year in the downtown Shreveport Festival Plaza. From traditional Cajun cuisine to deep-rooted music and hand-crafted art, the Revel offers a vast experience through activities, entertainment, food, and local traditions.
