A few times a year, we roll in the TomsMaHauL motorhome to Brushy Creek Park on Lake O’ The Pines. The lake is a reservoir in Northeast Texas in, mostly, in Marion County, but small portions of the lake are in Upshur & Morris Counties. Photo of our (oldest) son & daughter-in-law joined Trippin’ w/ Tom & Teri @ Brushy Creek on Lake ‘o the Pines. The younger ones decided to tent camp on the shore of the lake, and were lucky to get a wonderful tent pad area. Perfect weather to be by the lake with evening campfires.
After Tom arrived early at our favorite TomsMaHauL RV spot at Brushy Creek Park, Tom strolled around the campground, while on the lookout forTeri & other family to arrive.
After a very stormy night, with some area weather warnings in the area around Lake O’ The Pines, the next morning was calm with improved weather. Tom was up early in the morning to check the condition of the motorhome (from top to bottom/front to back). All good.
On our way to one of our visits to Brushy Creek on Lake O’ The Pines, we encountered swarms of love bugs. Love bug season in this area is, usually, from early spring (April/May) & late summer (August/September). Once arriving at Brushy Creek (Lake O’ The Pines) Tom had to get the lovebugs removed from the flat front of the TomsMaHauL.com motorhome. Lovebugs will pit the clearcoat & paint, if you leave them there too long. Tom used a lot of water, but some scrubbing was involved.Visit our “YIKES!
